  • We got the 3-year funding for global monitoring of carbon and water fluxes from NRF (National Research Foundation)!! This is a collaborative project with Rama Nemani (NASA Ames) and Catharine van Ingen (Microsoft Research)

2011년 SNU 환경생태연구실 뉴스를 보니 정말 활기찬 한 해였네요 – NRF 펀딩 획득과 NASA·Microsoft 협력으로 글로벌 탄소·수분 플럭스 모니터링 프로젝트가 시작됐고, MODIS 기반 GPP·ET 추정 논문까지! 저도 비슷한 연구 프로젝트에서 현장 데이터를 활용해 영상 자료를 만들었는데, 위성 이미지와 현지 촬영 클립을 합성하려다 배경을 투명하게 처리하는 게 핵심이었어요. 크로마키 편집 방법을 따라 쉽게 적용했더니 합성 영상이 자연스럽고 전문적으로 나왔고, 세미나에서 발표할 때 청중 반응이 훨씬 좋았어요.
